Shandong province is now hosting a promotional event highlighting the province's renowned brands, specialties, handicrafts and picturesque landscapes in Beijing from Nov 10 to 12.
Under the theme of "Friendly Shandong, Remarkable Shandong", the event is organized by the Shandong Provincial People's Government.
At the opening ceremony, Lin Wu, Party secretary of Shandong province, said that in recent years, Shandong has consistently strengthened its regional public brand by focusing on improving service and product quality.
Zhou Naixiang, governor of Shandong province, welcomed friends from around the world to visit Shandong to savor delicious cuisine, enjoy breathtaking scenery, foster friendships, seek development, and create a prosperous future together.
More than 500 guests, including government officials, diplomatic envoys, think tank experts, scholars and company representatives, as well as nearly 200 journalists attended the opening ceremony and supporting activities.
