It is said that in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, a craftsman of the Lu State used six wooden sticks (blocks) to make a fancy toy on a whim.

The six seemingly simple sticks can be destroyed easily. But when being combined into a lock , they can form an indestructible force. The miraculous mortise-and-tenon structure exudes unique charm.

In the Agrarian Age, skillful craftsmen utilized the mortise-and-tenon structure to build houses and towers, e.g. the Guangyue Tower in Liaocheng, the Confucius Temple in Qufu, the Palace Museum in Beijing… They left countless “Dopamine” buildings on the land of China, which have stood still for centuries.

Ancient Chinese wisdom is still inspiring the world. It is easy to disassemble, but hard to reassemble. As a symbol of peace, it was presented as a “National Gift” to the members of the UN Security Council, providing a Chinese solution to the global problem -- Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

It is the “Oriental Rubik's Cube” – Luban lock.
