Jinan will hold its first high-level talent recruitment conference in May and October, respectively, and host its second Haiyou Talent Festival from June 12 to July 12, according to a Shandong provincial conference held recently.
Jinan's first high-level talent recruitment conference will target both domestic and international young talent, especially high-level talent. Each recruitment conference will invite over 1,000 enterprises and institutions, providing more than 20,000 jobs and attracting 15,000 job seekers.
The second Haiyou Talent Festival will focus on the "talent economy", promoting the "alumni economy" and conducting a series of activities such as talent exchange, recruitment, services, technology transfer, and cultural, artistic, and sports performances.
In recent years, Jinan has been bolstering efforts to improve its talent policies and environment, introducing the 2024 version of the Haiyou Talent Policy, striving to build a comprehensive talent service system and make it easier for talent to settle down in Jinan.
Jinan has also optimized and enhanced relevant talent policies in entrepreneurship, settlement, and development, including home purchase subsidies, living allowances, provisions for children's education, healthcare, and transportation assistance, in an effort to make the city more inviting.
